labs DFG provides strong support to ETC Labs and the core development team in the United States.

With the help of DFG, ETC Labs has successfully performed the Atlantis hard fork of Ethereum Classic this year, which aims to improve the compatibility between ETH and ETC and reduce development costs for developers on both blockchains. At the same time, a number of support programs such as ETC Labs Accelerate, ETC Labs Studio were launched to help improve the technical applications and ecological development of ETC.

Starting from January 2020, ETC Labs will partner with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and Lehigh University to drive technological innovation and to train emerging innovators and entrepreneurs. Through the Start Up Academy at the Lehigh@NasdaqCenter, where 3rd and 4th year students will be able to build projects on Ethereum Classic, ETC Labs extends its mission to be at the forefront of the development and adoption of distributed technologies and to collaborate with leading institutions from around the globe.

At the 2019 Devcon 5 conference in Osaka, ETC Labs and Ethereum jointly announced their partnership, especially in the data layer area. This solves the scaling problem for ETH through a parallel blockchain with security and shared values, and enables ETC to contribute to the ETH community with infrastructural technologies.

Meanwhile, ETC Labs announced the details of its strategic partnership with BloqCloud, Gitcoin, Swarm and Stateless Clients, and described the progress of Ethereum Classic’s underlying virtual machine and compiling technology, LLVM.

Accelerate provides small & medium sized startups with funding, office space, training, workshop and professional networking.
